The Downtown Art Place is celebrating Youth Art Month with an annual student art show. Students from multiple area schools submitted work for the show. The following WMS students have their work on display for Youth Art Month:
Cade Ahonen, Dani Perczynski, Dymond Perczynski, Luke Wasielewski, Colton White, Carter Bouvette, Emma Grayson, Aida Kessler and Katelyn Stanislawski.
The student show will be on display until the end of March. You may view their work during the D.A.P.'s hours, Tues-Sun from 12-4pm and during performances at the Historic Ironwood Theatre.



Student Design an Ad winners were published on Thursday. Students in 6th through 12th grade participated. You can pick up a copy of the Daily Globe to see the winning ads.





Just a reminder that there is a half day of school tomorrow, Friday March 15th. We will have a noon release.

Students in grades 7-12 were able to attend a skiing and snowboarding field trip to Snowriver Resort last Friday. The trip was funded by a grant from Project Healthy Schools. Perfect weather and great conditions made for a fun day for all who attended!

Digital Arts students wrapped up their coding unit by programming a Micro Rover to follow a mapped route. Maps were designed by classmates. The senior group expertly executed navigating a complicated design.



Today, we wrapped up National School Breakfast Week. The students enjoyed the activities and wholesome breakfasts all week long. Today's raffle winners were Adrienne Gourneau, Desolyn Vukusich, Wilson Webber, and Aubrey Searles. The grand prize winner was Jessa Wiesen.

National School Breakfast Week continues! Thursday's prize winners are Siri Jacobson, Willow Marschke, Maddilyn Zeller, and Finley Brown.


Students are enjoying the book fair this week! A big thank you goes to Mrs. Bachand and Mrs. Billie for their hard work in running the book fair for our students!



Junior Bode Lynott is a varsity basketball player who lifts weights most mornings. He follows his workout with school breakfast. Sawyer Radowski was the Tuesday breakfast winner.
